Exit A1(M) at Junction 47 and follow Harrogate A59, then A658 and then A661
At the traffic lights on the A661 next to the Sainsbury’s store, turn left into Railway Road
From Leeds A61 or Bradford A658:
At the roundabout at the junction of the two routes follow signs for York/A1 along the A658
At the next roundabout take the A661 signed Harrogate
At the traffic lights on the A661 next to Sainsbury’s store, turn left onto Railway Road and continue round the perimeter of the showground passing the Regional Agricultural Centre (RAC), Fodder Farm Shop and Café, Harrogate Caravan Park, Brown Gate and Gold Gate following the signs to Yorkshire Event Centre
Bike parking is available free of charge.
For local buses, the Yorkshire Event Centre is on bus routes No. 70 and 71; the best stop to use is Woodlands Corner. Once you’ve alighted, walk down Hookstone Drive and then turn left down Hookstone Wood Road. Follow the road around to the right, which will bring you out by the YEC.

Harrogate is located midway between Leeds and York, with regular commuter train services on the local line. The Yorkshire Event Centre is about two miles from Harrogate train station, where taxis and buses are available to complete your journey. Hornbeam Park station is about 1.5 miles away but there are no taxis available at this station without pre-booking. The station is connected to the Yorkshire Event Centre by a Showground Greenway so if you’d prefer a short walk or cycle, directions are here.
The Yorkshire Event Centre is approximately 14 miles from Leeds Bradford Airport, which offers regular flights to UK, European and Worldwide destinations. It’s a short 30 minute taxi or the 747 bus stops at Harrogate Bus station.
